Hosting My Own Tournament

ENYTB members and non-members that sponsor their own tournaments can have their tournaments listed on the ENYTB website by contacting the League Office. This listing service is fully described under the menu item to the left, Open Tournaments. It is free to members and is offered to non-members for a fee of $50/tournament.

This will be a premium service offered to members and non-members.

TOURNAMENT MANAGER (TM) is an extension of the ENYTB website, designed to assist tournament sponsors in every phase of tournament management from the development of a tournament brochure and online marketing, to team registration and the development of a comprehensive tournament directory that provides participants with all essential information, to the reporting of results and information every step of the way throughout the tournament.

• Online Tournament Marketing includes:
  1. Tournament brochure; and,

  2. Sign-up.

• Online Tournament Directory includes:
  1. i. Contact info for all participating teams and tournament officials;

  2. Listing of all tournament fields, linked to their directions;

  3. Contact info for local lodging.

• Online Tournament Brackets with live updating:
  1. All game times and field assignments;

  2. All game match-ups;

  3. All game scores.

  4. A champions page, featuring the capability to upload a picture of your tournament champion.

• Dedicated Online Message Board for late breaking news.

This unique website service enables tournament sponsors to market their tournaments online 24/7 to a highly targeted public audience. ENYTB members as well as non-members worldwide will be able to view and sign-up for your tournament online. Interested non-members who aren't website activated will be given the choice of filling out an online form or calling the League Office to get their TM on-line sign-up code. This code will enable these owners to sign-up online for any open tournament using the TM service.

Once the marketing side of your tournament is a success and your tournament field is complete, TM allows you to easily manage all tournament information and make it available online to all tournament participants and their families, as well as the entire world. TM will greatly reduce the hassle factor associated with sponsoring your own tournaments while increasing the satisfaction of all your tournament participants.

When TM becomes available, all ENYTB sponsored tournaments, sanctioned or unsanctioned will be managed through it. The current goal is to have it available in time for the 2005 summer tournament season.

TM will be offered as a premium service, available to members for $250/tournament and non-members for $300/tournament. TM will make all tournament information available to the public through the Front Page of the website (not password restricted). A unique Tournament ID and password will be assigned to each tournament/sponsor combination to enable sponsors to enter their tournament information through an easy-to-use TM interface, also located on the Front Page.
