League Intro
Welcome to the ENYTB website, home of the biggest, best and fastest growing youth
and adult travel baseball program in Upstate New York. The structure of the website
includes three main areas, indicated by the tabs above. You have selected the
League Intro section.
The
Front Page includes two menu sections:
- Past and Present provides important information about the league,
including its Constitution and By-Laws and regular season playing rules.
The content of this section is of primary interest to members and potential
members. [p]
- Public Information provides the latest available information on the
current season, including game results and standings, player stats, upcoming
games and field directions. The content of this section is provided for the
benefit of all interested parties, including the media, college scouts,
college and high school coaches as well as players and their families and friends.
The
League Intro section is the place to begin if you are looking for information
about ENYTB membership. This section provides a brief introduction to the
league and how it operates. Each menu button on the left describes a particular
facet of league participation from two perspectives, that of the member and that
of the participating or "registered" non-member. ENYTB encourages every team
to become a league member but it also offers non-member teams a wide range
of services:
- Three different scheduling options are available to non-member
teams looking for extra games;[p]
- Non-member teams can register for ENYTB sponsored open tournaments; and,
- Non-member teams can market and manage their own tournaments on the ENYTB website.
Some of these non-member services are available free of charge while others
are fee based. The league offers services to non-member teams because their
participation is viewed as beneficial to ENYTB members in many ways. Non-members
help round out our members' schedules by providing an additional pool of
opponents for extra games. Also, by participating in ENYTB sponsored tournaments,
non-member teams make the competition in ENYTB sponsored tournaments more
diverse and challenging. Non-members also enhance member awareness of non-league
tournament opportunities when they advertise their tournaments on the ENYTB
website. Last but not least, many teams join the league as a result of gaining
familiarity with the league as a "registered" non-member.
The final and most important of the three main website areas,
Inside The League (LOGIN),
is where ENYTB members and "registered" non-members are provided an unparalleled
capability to manage and enhance their baseball and league experience. This
portion of the website:
- Is personalized to each owner and team via the user's login codes;
- Provides each owner and team its own home area where all league
information unique to that owner or team is displayed.
- Includes a set of interactive tools that provides individual
owners and teams with the capability to enter and/or retrieve all
information necessary for league participation, from online registration
and scheduling, to entering rosters, scores and stats.
This list only scratches the surface of what is available to members and
registered non-members
Inside The League. For a more complete discussion

item on the left,
